Waterfalls and Woodlands Discover why the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands is known as the Waterfall country. Starting at the mighty Howick Falls, the second highest waterfall in South Africa, spend three days and four nights discovering the green heart of South Africa. After bike set-up and a test run on the day of arrival, spend the next day in the Dargle valley, stopping for lunch at an interesting artist's retreat. After a nights rest at a luxury lodge, whizz down Khyber pass, heading into the Karkloof forests. Spend time suspended above the forest canopy enjoying this beautiful environment. A brief cycle west takes you down to the Karkloof Falls, from where, your back-up vehicle will return you to your lodging after sundowners at the Falls. The following morning is spent either blasting down some of the best single track in the country or leisurely winding your way down to Howick, to depart with fond memories and fine new friends.
